Cross Country - First-year member of the Blue Hens.
High School: Four-year member of field hockey and track teams, and ran one year of cross country at St. Mark’s High School • named All-State All-County, and All-Catholic League as a senior during her only year of cross country • also selected All-Catholic League in track • finished first in the two mile and second in the mile at the state championships • coached by former UD cross country standout Mike DiGennaro • earned second honors.
Personal: Katrina Anne Steenkamer ("steen-ka-mur") • daughter of Tom and Stephanie Steenkamer • has two younger brothers, Christopher and Benjamin, and a younger sister, Elizabeth • cousin, Meredith Steenkamer, is also on the UD cross country team • mother attended UD and is employed by the University • has five uncles and an aunt who also attended Delaware • uncle, Mike Steenkamer, competed for the Blue Hen men’s cross country team • business undeclared major at Delaware.
