University of Delaware Women’s Golf Team Tied For Ninth Place Following First Day of FIU Pat Bradley Invitational

Day One Results
LAKEWOOD RANCH, Fla. -- Blue Hen sophomore Annie Bowlsby is tied for ninth place in the individual standings while the University of Delaware women’s golf squad is also tied for ninth in the team standings on Sunday following the first round of the 35th Annual FIU Pat Bradley Invitational.
Host Florida International leads the 14-team field after recording a 296 score on Sunday, while Cincinnati is just one shot behind at 297. Florida Gulf Coast and Boston College are tied for third place at 303, while Bradley is fifth at 306. Daytona State and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi are tied for seventh place at 312, while the Blue Hens and Jacksonville are tied for ninth with 315 team scores.
Bowlsby (at right) carded a three over par 75 on the par 72, 6,261-yard Cypress Links course at Lakewood Ranch Golf & Country Club, finishing the day in a tie for ninth place. Blue Hen sophomore Baralee Theinthong, senior Frida Nilsson, and freshman Vimonthip Benjasupawan each carded an eight over par 80 to end the day in a tie for 40th place. UD sophomore Andrea Slane will enter Monday’s action tied for 49th place after she posted a nine over par 81 during her opening round.
Olivia Dose of Cincinnati leads the field after she carded a three under par 69, while Sophie Godley of FIU fired a 71 to finish the day in second place two shots back.
The tournament continues with the second round on Monday, followed by the third round on Tuesday.
