High School: Three-year letterwinner in cross country and track at Hempfield High School • led cross country team to a three-year record of 52-15 • helped track team to a pair of league championships and an undefeated season in 2010 • first team All-State track selection during all three years • league champion in the 4x100 as a sophomore and junior, and league champion in the 4x400 as a junior and senior • third team All-State pick as a senior in cross country • served as team captain for both teams as a senior • member of Superior Honor Roll and Foreign Language Honor Society
