Indoor Track & Field - Second-year member of the Blue Hens. 2010-11 Season: Ran the mile in 5:09.63 at the Princeton Invitational, the fastest time in the event by a Blue Hen on the season • finished 1,000 meters in 3:07.52 at the Lafayette/Rider Invitational, the second fastest time during the year.
Outdoor Track & Field - Second-year member of the Blue Hens. 2011 Season: Did not compete in any meets for the Blue Hens.
High School: Four-year letterwinner for the Vikings field hockey program • helped lead team to the Henlopen North Conference Championship in 2008 and 2009 • named a field hockey Academic All-American • honored with the Ruth Skoglund Most Dedicated Athlete Award for field hockey • played with the Jersey Intensity, winning the Disney Showcase Championship in 2009 • also won the Festival Championship in 2007 and again in 2009 with the Jersey Intensity • National Indoor Tournament Pool Champions in 2009 with Gotta Love It Oranje Club • played at NFC's in 2010 • totaled 16 varsity letters at Cape Henlopen • Cape Henlopen High School Outstanding Female Athlete of the Year Award • Kevin Kennedy Memorial Sports Award • U.S. Marine Corps Distinguished Athlete Award • holds school records in cross country and track • track records include: 1600m, 4x400m relay, 4x800m relay, 800m indoor, 4x800m indoor • triple jump Delaware State Champion, 2009 • indoor track first team All-State in 2010 • third team All-State for cross country in 2009 • Heart and Soul Award • Determination Award • National Honor Society • Key Club • National Society of High School Scholars • Presidential Academic Fitness Award.
Personal: Rebecca Kathryn Pepper • daughter of George and Kathy Pepper • majoring in anthropology and material culture studies at Delaware • both parents ran track and field at UD • is the middle child of three daughters • also is a member of the Blue Hen field hockey team who appeared in 10 games during the 2010 season.
