At Delaware: Cross Country - Third-year member of the Blue Hens who has earned two letters. 2011 Season: Named UD Alumni Association Team MVP • was the Blue Hens’ top finisher in all but one meet • placed 12th in 19:02 at the UMES Lid-Lifter Invitational and 33rd in 19:26 at the Fordham Invitational • finished seventh at the Delaware Invitational in 23:25 and 235th at the Paul Short Invitational in 23:20 • came in third in 24:02 at the Blue & Gold Invitational in 24:02 and 16th in 23:09 at the CAA Championships • placed 92nd in 24:15 at the NCAA Regionals and 10th in 18:40 at the ECAC Championships • named National 5 & 10 Best of the Blue Hens Athlete of the Week on Oct. 17. 2010 Season: Competed in all but one meet as a freshman • finished 68th in 23:18.3 at the Penn State Invitational and 12th in 19:27.1 at the Delaware Invitational • placed 257th in 24:11 at the Paul Short Invitational and 29th in 20:20.52 at the Blue & Gold Invitational • was 58th in 23:36 at the CAA Championships and 3rd in 19:59.3 at the open race of the ECAC Championships.
Indoor Track & Field - Third-year member of the squad who has earned two letters • school record holder in the 800 meters (2:14.02) and 4x800 meter relay (9:13.72). 2011-12 Season: Member of the 4x800 meter relay team that set a school record with a time of 9:13.72 at the New Balance Invitational • set a school record with a time of 2:14.02 in the 800 meters at the ECAC Championships • finished 12th in the 4x800 meter relay in 9:14.45 and 11th in the distance medley relay in 11:58.25 at the ECAC Championships, the third fastest time in school history • won the mile at the Thomson Invitational • ran the 1,000 meters in 2:55.79 at the Collegiate Challenge and the mile in 5:04.41 at the Princeton Invitational, both the best times by a Blue Hen on the season • finished the 3,000 meters in 10:39.12 at the Delaware Invitational. 2010-11 Season: Member of the 4x800 meter relay team finished 18th at the ECAC Championships in a school-record time of 9:15.01 • 4x800 meter relay team also won the Thomson Invitational and Lafayette/Rider Invitational • member of distance medley relay team that placed third at the Maryland Invitational in 12:10.00 • won the 800 meters at the Delaware Invitational • posted a season-best time of 2:18.00, the fifth fastest time in UD history, in the 800 meters at the Maryland Invitational • ran the 1,000 meters in 3:02.61 at the Lafayette/Rider Invitational, the fastest time by a Blue Hen on the year • completed the mile in 5:15.01 at the Thomson Invitational, the second fastest time during the season.
Outdoor Track & Field - Third-year member of the Blue Hens who has earned two letters • school record holder in the 800 meters (2:11.07), 4x800 meter relay (9:02.61), and distance medley relay (12:00.06). 2012 Season: Finished second in the 800 meters at the CAA Championships with a time of 2:11.07, breaking her own school record • won the 800 meters at the VCU Invitational and Towson Invitational • captured the 1,500 meters at the VCU Invitational and Delaware Open • finished 10th in the 4x800 meter relay in 9:09.44 and 11th in the distance medley relay in 12:03.47 at the Penn Relays • ran the 1,500 meters in 4:37.64 at the Delaware Open, the fastest time by a Blue Hen on the season. 2011 Season: Member of the distance medley relay team that placed ninth at the Penn Relays in a school-record time of 12:00.06 • member of the 4x800 meter relay team than finished 13th at the Penn Relays in a season-best 9:08.49 and also placed ninth at the ECAC Championships • member of the 4x1,500 meter relay team that ran the Raleigh Relays in 19:41.37 • won the 800 meters at the Delaware Open • finished second in the 800 meters at the CAA Championships in a school-record time of 2:13.71 • captured the 1,500 meters in 4:53.54 at the Golden Ram Invitational.
High School: Four-sport athlete at Saint Mark’s High School in Wilmington, Del., competing in field hockey, lacrosse and indoor and outdoor track • lacrosse team finished as state runner up in 2010 • named first team All-State in lacrosse and honorable mention in field hockey • track team took third at states • 4x800m relay team named first-team All-State • 4x800m relay team set school and state meet record • National Honor Society.
Personal: Lindsay Ann Prettyman • daughter of Andy and Judy Prettyman • has a twin sister, Kasey, who plays field hockey for Delaware • also has younger triplet siblings • lists high school coach Mike DiGennaro, a former standout runner at UD, as a major influence because he helped her believe in herself • exercise science major at Delaware.
