High School: Member of the basketball and lacrosse teams at Archbishop Wood High School • earned second team All-Catholic honors in 2009, and first team honors in 2010 and 2011 • named All-American during senior year • basketball team won two state championships in 2010 and 2011 • received third team All-Catholic accolades in 2010 and second team honors in 2011 • four-year honor roll student.

Personal: Caitlin ("kate-lynn") Erin McCartney • born March 27, 1993 • daughter of Bryan and Karen McCartney • father played football for Widener • older brother, Bryan, played lacrosse at Villanova, while older brother Sean plays football at West Chester • majoring in health behavior science • chose Delaware because of the close proximity to home and lacrosse program • started playing lacrosse in the third grade enjoys skiing, swimming, going to the beach and spending time with family and friends.
