Women’s Lacrosse Announces Date For Delaware Girls Lacrosse Clinic in September

NEWARK, Del. -- The University of Delaware women’s lacrosse team has announced the date for its Delaware Girls Lacrosse Clinic. The three-hour clinic will be held on Sunday, Sept. 18, with registration beginning at 1:15 p.m.
The clinic, designed for players in second through eighth grade, will be held on the turf practice fields, located behind the Delaware Field House. Grouping will be based on age and skill level.
The clinic will be led by the University of Delaware women’s lacrosse staff, comprised of head coach Kateri Linville, Kristin Hopson, Kristen Carr and Corrine Drost, as well as members of the team.
The three-hour clinic, which runs from 2-5 p.m., will cover the basics of the game, as well as develop individual skills, with an emphasis on how to be the difference maker in game situations.
Cost for the clinic is $45 per player, with checks payable to the University of Delaware. Participants will be required to bring goggles, a mouth guard, stick, turf shoes/cleats, a water bottle, rain gear and goalie equipment (as necessary).
