Linville Announces Addition of ATW Lacrosse Delaware Day Camp in July

NEWARK, Del. – University of Delaware head women’s lacrosse coach Kateri Linville has announced the addition of a “Delaware Day Camp” for girl’s lacrosse players from grades 3-8.
ATW Lacrosse, LLC, will host three daily sessions for the “Delaware Day Camp”, running from July 12-14 and will be held in Delaware Stadium, located in the Nelson Athletic Complex.
"We are eager to connect with the local community and to teach the youth level players to love the game we love,” said Linville of the day camp. “We encourage beginners, intermediate, and advanced level players to come to all three clinics. Campers will learn fundamental skills and play competitive games. Come join in the fun!”
Cost for the “Delaware Day Camp” is set for $150 for all three sessions. Prices for the single session options have been set at $55 per camper so that parents can select which dates they would like their kids attend.
July 12 will kick off with check in at 8 a.m., followed by an individual skills session and competition from 8:30-10 a.m.
Days two and three on July 13 and July 14 will feature check in at 8:15 a.m., followed by an individual skills session from 8:30-10 a.m. The day will conclude with competitive games and a scrimmage.
Players will need to provide goggles, mouth guard, stick, cleats or sneakers, a water bottle and goalie equipment for those that play that position.
