University of Delaware Women’s Lacrosse Selling T-Shirts To Raise Awareness for Alzheimer’s Disease

NEWARK, Del. -– The University of Delaware women’s lacrosse team is currently selling t-shirts as part of its non-profit initiative to raise money in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease. These exclusive t-shirts were designed by members of the 2012 women’s lacrosse team with all proceeds benefiting the Alzheimer’s Association.
The t-shirt sale is part of a “Forget Me Not” game on Sunday, April 22 as the Blue Hens take on George Mason beginning at 1 p.m. at Delaware Stadium. Fans are encouraged to pack the house with purple and wear the special t-shirts at the game to support the cause. All order forms must be submitted by Friday, April 6 at 5 p.m.
T-shirts will be available for pick up at two times and locations: Friday, April 20 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Bob Carpenter Center New 2nd Floor Lobby or Sunday, April 22 from 12 noon-1 p.m. inside Delaware Stadium.
