NEWARK, Del. -- Season tickets are now on sale for all the exciting University of Delaware men’s and women’s lacrosse action this spring in Delaware Stadium.
The 2013 season is right around the corner and fans will have the opportunity to catch all the exciting NCAA Division I action up close and personal one of the nation’s top lacrosse venues.
The Blue Hen men will play seven home games on the Delaware Stadium turf beginning with a Feb. 9 meeting with rival Bucknell while the Delaware women will be home for nine games starting with the season opener Feb. 16 with nationally-ranked Georgetown.
Season tickets offer significant savings for those loyal Blue Hens lacrosse fans. Men’s season tickets are just $35 for adults and $25 for youth (17 and under) & seniors (60 and over) in advance – the equivalent of two free games. Highlighting the men’s schedule are visits from defending NCAA Division I national champion Loyola (Feb. 16) and Colonial Athletic Association rivals Hofstra, Towson, and Penn State.
Women’s season tickets are also available at just $25 for adults and $15 for youth and seniors – a 50 percent savings or the equivalent of five free games. Highlighting the home schedule are matchup with Georgetown, Loyola, and defending CAA champion Towson.

For those fans looking to bring a large group to a game, discounted tickets are available for groups of 20-49 people ($4 for men’s games/$3 for women’s games), while groups of 50 or more are able to purchase discounted tickets for $2 for men’s games and $1 for women’s games. All group tickets must be purchased at least 48 hours in advance.
Delaware men’s head coach Bob Shillinglaw will welcome back a solid group of returning players led by the return of high-scoring attackmen Eric Smith and Danny Keane and midfielder Nick Diachenko, versatile midfielder Dom Sebastiani, and defensive stopper Connor Fitzgerald.
On the women’s side, head coach Kateri Linville returns 15 letterwinner led by 2012 CAA Rookie of the Year and all-region midfielder Caitlin McCartney as well as All-CAA selections Shannon Burns and Angela Biciocchi.
