High School: Four-year team MVP and four-year letterwinner at Archbishop Spaulding High School • served as team captain during senior year • led Archbishop Spaulding to 2006-07 conference championship • finished fifth in the 400 freestyle relay and sixth in the 400 medley relay at the 2007 state championships, and among the top 34 in the 50 freestyle, 100 freestyle, 200 freestyle, 100 butterfly, 200 individual medley, and 200 breaststroke • named to all-county team • selected High School Athlete of the Week by the Catholic Review in February, 2007 • finished among the top 11 at the U.S. Catholic Nationals in the 100 freestyle, 200 freeystyle, 200 freestyle relay, and 200 medley relay • member of National Honor Society and Spanish National Honor Society • member of SGA • honor roll student all four years of high school • earned award for outstanding achievement in world history and physics.
