UD All-Time Top-10 Lists: 400-IM (5th, 4:30.73). 2011-12 Season: Swam a seasons best 1:56.00 in the 200-yard freestyle event at the meet against Widener where she placed second. Won the 200-yard individual medley event at Widener with a season high time of 2:08.92. Placed third in the 200-yard freestyle event at the meet against William & Mary with a time of 1:56.05. Finished 24th and 19th in the 100 and 200-yard breaststroke respectively at the Bucknell Invitational. Finished 27th in the 400-yard Individual medley event with a season high time of 2:14.98 at the Bucknell Invitational. 2010-11 Season: As a sophomore, she continued to add depth in the breaststroke, backstroke and individual medley events • earned a spot on the podium in four events, all third place finishes • swam a season's best in the 200-yard breasstroke against Drexel and Northeastern, finishing third in 2:28.45 • was a part of a three person UD sweep of the 200 IM against La Salla and Rider, placing third in 2:13.38 • finished third in the 100-yard breaststroke at Widener in 1:11.69 and third in the 200-yard breaststroke against Georgetown in 2L28.83 • had a season's best in the 100 back against Georgetown, placing fifth in 1:02.79 • would have won the 400 IM at Widener in a season's best time of 4:36.37, but swam as an exhibition • would have placed second in the 200 IM against Georgetown in a season's best time of 2:11.78, btu swam as an exhibition • 2009-10 Season: One of the team's top individual medley performers, posting the team's second best times in the 200 and 400 IM • finished 14th in the CAA's in the 400 IM in 4:30.73 • came in 26th in the CAA's in the 200 IM in 2:08.23 • also finished 26th in the CAA's in the 200 backstroke in 2:10.00 • also competed in the 50 freestyle, 100 butterfly, 100 backstroke, 100 and 200 breaststroke.
High School: Four-year member of the Egg Harbor Township High School swim team • earned All-State honors and placed third in the Meet of Champions during her career • also received first-team All-South Jersey and second-team All-Public honors for her performance in the 200-individual medley as a senior • was a member of the Junior National Team as well.
Personal: Mackenzie Marie Howarth • daughter of Kevin and Deborah Howarth • born August 25, 1991 • has three siblings, Paige, Shannon, and Bailey • majoring in mass communications at Delaware with a minor in leadership • served as a lifeguard on the beach in Ventnor City, N.J.over the summer.
