2011-12 Season: Finished the 200-yard butterfly event with the fourth fastest time in school history of 2:05.09. Finished 17th at the CAA Championships in the 200-yard butterfly event. Swam the final leg of the 800-yard freestyle relay for the team that set the third best time in school history at the CAA Championships. Recorded the 10th best 200-yard freestyle time in school history with a time of 1:53.55 at the CAA Championships where she finished 19th. Swam the 10th best 500-yard freestyle time in UD history of 5:05.56 at the Bucknell Invitational. Placed second in the 500-yard freestyle event at the meet against LaSalle and Rider. Recorded a second place finish in the 200-yard butterfly event at the meet against William & Mary. Finished third in the 200-yard butterfly at the meet against George Mason.
High School: Four-year letterwinner at Cherry Hill West High School • holds record in 4 x 100 freestyle relay at Cherry Hill West High School • captain of swim team as a senior • member and record holder of the Covered Bridge Swim Club.
Personal: Amy Elizabeth Stelmaszyk ("stell-mazik") • daughter of Tad Stelmaszyk and Karen Leonard • born March 20, 1993 • has two brothers, Jason Stelmaszyk and Justin Leonard • was a lifeguard over the summer • environmental engineering major at Delaware.
