At Delaware:  Senior and fourth-year member of the squad • two-time UD Team Sportsmanship Award honoree • made school history after recording the highest win total (27) by a freshman, good at the time for second on the all-time singles wins list • CAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll awardee • tied for 21st in school history with 40 career singles wins.

2011-12 Season:  Finished her junior campaign by helping the Blue Hens to quarterfinal finish in the Colonial Athletic Association Tournament that led to a 11-6 team record, 4-2 in the CAA • ended the season with a 8-10 singles record in addition to a 9-1 doubles record; 8-1 record with Olivia Heim and 1-0 record with Christina Harrington • had longest doubles winning streak on the team with Olivia Heim, seven games • Top Finisher at the St. Joseph’s Invitational (#4 Singles Runner-Up) • named to CAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll • selected UD Team Sportsmanship Award.

2010-11 Season:  Improved her career total to 32-10 after going 5-3 in singles action on the year • Posted a minimal .500 winning percentage in all the flights she participated in, going 1-0 in the sixth flight and 2-1 in non-flighted matches • Went 6-2 on the season in doubles action, playing with Olivia Heim (4-1) and Kelly Domingo (2-1) • won the Old Dominion Tournament D1 Doubles title with Heim.

2009-10 Season:  Tallied a singles record of 27-7 including a 17-5 record at the No. 5 spot, as a freshman • her 27 victories marked the highest win total by a freshman in school history • 27 wins also ranks second on the all-time most singles wins in a season in UD history • paired with four different partners to compile a 20-11 doubles record • earned the UD Team Sportsmanship Award.

High School:  A five-year letterwinner at John F. Kennedy High School • played three years at No. 1 singles • an All-County and All-State selection • National Honor Society student.

Personal:  Amanda Brooke Halstrom ("hall-strum") • born Sept. 6, 1991 • daughter of Doug and Robin Halstrom • has a younger brother, Jared • honor student as a chemistry major • hopes to become a doctor • worked in the UD Department of Chemistry and Biology as a research assistant this past summer • cites her father as a major influence on her tennis career • started playing tennis at age 10.
